Produced for Walton Ford’s exhibition, Novaya Zemlya, at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art (June 14 – December 14, 2014), we animated elements of Gerrit de Veer's 16th C. prints made while on a much-fabled Arctic expedition.

Client: Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art
Produced for Walton Ford’s 2014 exhibition, Novaya Zemlya, at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Greenhouse Media produced a animated narrative film based on historic prints sourced from the Rijksmuseum's image archive. Working with high resolution images of artist/explorer Gerrit de Veer's 16th C. etchings, GhM animated elements of de Veer's prints and added motion graphics to tell the story of a much-fabled Arctic expedition.
