ADAM PENDLETON: Love, Queen

GhM worked closely with artist Adam Pendleton and Hirshhorn staff to design the projection and playback systems for Adam Pendleton’s 2025 exhibit Love, Queen, specifically the debut of Pendleton’s new work Resurrection City Revisited (Who Owns Geometry Anyway?). Projected floor to ceiling on the emblematic curved wall of HMSG, the work makes use of still and moving images of Resurrection City, the multi-day encampment erected on the National Mall in the spring and summer of 1968 that is considered to be the culmination of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Poor People’s Campaign.
